About Us

S.E. Charities was born out of a heartfelt commitment to address the needs of seniors who are often overlooked. Founded by Dr. LaToya Thomas in 2018, this organization carries forward the love, respect, and care she witnessed in her relationship with her grandparents. Realizing that many seniors, especially those with limited income, lack access to basic necessities, Dr. Thomas set out to create a community resource dedicated to helping them live comfortably and independently in their own homes.

Our Goal

Our goal at S.E. Charities is to tackle the “aging in place” deficit by providing resources and assistance to seniors in marginalized communities. Aging in place allows seniors to stay in familiar surroundings, close to friends and neighbors, which is crucial for mental and emotional health. We supply essential items—such as adult incontinence products and hygiene items—that are often difficult for low-income seniors to afford, helping to restore their independence and dignity.

Our Mission

Welcome to S.E. Charities, where we’re committed to ensuring that senior citizens can age with dignity, comfort, and the essential support they need. Founded in 2018 by Dr. LaToya Thomas and inspired by the love and legacy of her grandparents, S.E. Charities addresses a critical need: providing basic hygiene essentials and resources for seniors who have limited income and may lack family support.

Our mission is simple yet powerful—to uplift and support seniors in marginalized communities by bridging gaps in essential care. Through your generosity and partnership, we provide incontinence supplies, hygiene products, and evidence-based therapies that enhance both physical and emotional well-being. We believe everyone deserves a chance to live with dignity, and together, we can make that a reality for our elders.
